Fair Isle Workshop with Ann       $25

Sure, it’s summer, but kick up your skill sets and learn to knit in color using both hands! Fair Isle knitting AND slouchy hats are all the rage! Don’t miss out! We’ll work on Jared Flood’s beautiful “Beaumont” tam or beanie (your choice) in this afternoon long workshop. You’ll have a great hat just in time for Fall!
 

Crochet for Knitters!       $25 
Saturday: Sept 18;  3-5pm
Difficulty Level: Easy
Instructor: Ann Rushton
This class is designed for those wanting to kick up knitting skills with a little crochet knowledge. Learn to hold the hook, make a chain, and how to do a single, half-double and double crochet. You’ll also learn how to crochet two pieces of knitted fabric together. Leave the class confident in your skills as a hooker!







Two Toe Up Socks on Magic Loop!       $40 
Saturdays: Sept 18, 25, Oct 2;  12:30-2:30pm
Difficulty Level: Advanced
Instructor: Ann Rushton
In this class you’ll learn basic toe up sock knitting as well as knitting one long circular in the magic loop technique. We’ll start class one with the toe up cast one, in class two we’ll turn the heel, and in class three we’ll finish with a flexible bind off. Extensive knowledge of sock knitting not a requirement, however, you’ll need to have knit a couple pair of socks to understand the basic techniques we explore.







So Now You Can Knit… Hats       $40 
Saturdays: Sept 25, Oct 2, 9;  10-12pm
Difficulty Level: Beginner

So you’ve learned the knit stitch and are ready for more? Come join us Saturdays in September as we explore basic knitting techniques. Learn to cast on, purl increase, decrease, and knit in the round as well as other tricks of the trade. You’ll leave the class with a new hat—just in time for Fall!

Cable Hat Workshop with Ann       $25

Fall is just around the corner and slouchy cabled hats are IN! Be ready for cold weather and learn to knit cables in this afternoon-long workshop. Pick a scrumptious color and surprise yourself with your new ability! This hat is perfect for Christmas knitting.

Addicted to sock knitting? We are too! Come and show off your work, admire your fellow knitters' yarns and patterns, try a few new things, and bask in the feeling of being around folks who understand what the point is of knitting your own socks instead of buying them down at the Everything Mart.

The Knitting Doctor Is In!
Stuck on a pattern? Need help with a new technique? Convinced your pattern must be wrong? Our staff is ready and able to help. Think of us as "Knitting Doctors," except that you won't get a bill! Just drop in the shop, plop down at the table, and say "HELP!" Our staff will come to your aid in a hurry.

  

Crazy Girl Class Policies:
Cancellations must be received 24 hours in advance for a refund. A minimum of 3 students is required for most classes to take place –some classes may require a higher minimum, please see individual class signup sheets for information. If the minimum for a class is not reached, we will cancel or reschedule the class and a full refund will be given.

Students can receive a 10% discount on the supplies required for a class. Bring your supply list with you when you shop in order to receive the discount, or shop during class.
